ZBjqQCHI As far as I can see there are a lot of problems with . There are moneorn-sequiturs that I can poke a stick at. I've read its training manual because I have an in-law who is really into this stuff, and came away thinking it was worse than I could have imagined. Where do I begin? From the EC training manual:p6. Elijahs will raise up Elishas after them. Where is the bible passage for such a monumental claim?p7. There is no such thing as the spirit of Elijah. This is concocted rubbish. There is only mention of demonic spirits and the Holy Spirit itself in the bible.p8. Why is the whole thing called the EC when Elijah's call to the Israelites was to people who had backslidden as opposed to non-believers? There is a logical error here.p10. Proponents of the EC have a basic misunderstanding of the inner working of the Holy Spirit and salvation. We are saved to do good works; we do not do good works in order to be saved. I don't know how anyone can take Ephesians 2:8-10 and twist it to such a degree. He also doesn't get the calvinist's distinction between covenant of redemption and covenant of grace they are two different things. One can taste the Holy Spirit, but not be saved. At that time, someone is not yet saved (Hebrews 6:4-8) Esau and Judas (Iscariot) are such examples. They are in the redemptive covenant (part of the vine), but are not saved.I've only done up to page 20, but can continue in a similar fashion for the rest of the manual if desired,God Bless,Ed. k6sOuMuZb
